The NYC Asterisk PBX August Meetup

The Monthly Asterisk Meetup will be held in Midtown. We will gather to discuss Asterisk's evolution into asound business IP telephony platform and trade experience, insight & expertise.

July's Meetup was a great first step and I very much look forward to seeing those who attended again and meeting those of you who couldn't make it or have recently joined. I've changed the date to Thursday, August 10th in the hope of giving folks plenty of time to schedule and plan.

Augusts' NYC Asterisk meeting will be held in a conference in midtown. Please confirm your intention re: attendance so that I can get a realistic headcount & secure the appropriate sized venue.

The NYC Asterisk PBX July Meetup

This will be the first meeting of the New York Asterisk IP PBX Meetup Group. Having never sat down with one another, we'll use the time to introduce ourselves, share our experience level with Asterisk and discuss what we want out of these Meetups.

While subsequent meetings will involve more formalized presentations and topics, this first meeting's discussion will be led by Birch Shambaugh who will discuss his company's experience with Asterisk.

Tomorrow night's NYC Asterisk meeting will be held in a conference room at the Kinkos on 52nd Street (16E, btwn 5th and Madison). Please confirm your intention re: attendance so that I can get a realistic headcount. Look forward to meeting everyone,
